Dobot+ not supported for Magician E6

Hello,
I wanted to configure and use my PGS-5 electromagnetic gripper on my Magician E6, but I am being met by a message which says “current device does not support dobotplus”. Is there anything I can do to overcome this? Or is Magician E6 unable to use end effectors? I am on the 4.4 version of dobotstudio if that is of any help in resolving this issue. Thanks in advance.
