Dobot convezor belt

I have the Dobot Conveyor belt. I want to ask if it is possible to control the Dobot conveyor belt without having the Dobot Magician ?

Besically i want to use the conveyor belt with some other robot manipulator and for showcasing. Is it possible to interact with the conveyor belt without having the Dobot Magician and if yes how can i do it?

The conveyor motor is a 42 stepper motor, which is the same as the ordinary 12v stepper motor control type, if you know the relevant technology. Motor A + B + A—B—, mechanical arm A + A—B + B—.
