Understanding Command "Set Motion Ratio"



I’m rather getting to know the Dobot Magician and DobotStudio Software. While going trough the Blockly configuration commands I stumbled upon the “Set Motion Ratio” command, which I dont seem to fully understand.

Would it be right to state velocity ratio = acceleration and acceleration ratio = jerk, based on the Kinematic principles?

If so wouldn’t the specification of both acceleration ratio and velocity ratio be problematic, since by defining the acceleration ratio we also set the velocity ratio?

Or how should I think of this parameters?
