Testing a Hardened Steel nozzle

I purchased a nozzle from printing materials like carbon and metal infused filaments. It installed fine, just used an M6 locknut to lock it down. It is longer so I will lose about 8mm in Z but thats ok. I am going to go zero the printer and run a test print with Proto-pasta Stainless Steel infused PLA.

So, was the test print successful?

I had to add some G code to the Cura setting to adjust the Z height. It printed a little mess of plastic-metal. But it did print. I need to nail down the settings. First I think I will try to get it back to printing well with PLA, to make sure the starting Z height isn’t the issue.
