Mooz 2 Z axis won't move up

#1

My Mooz-2 is experiencing an issue where the Z-axis will not move up, only down. This leads to failed prints as it cannot lift the head up. Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Hello, have you reburned the MOOZ-2’s mainboard firmware and touchpad firmware?

I’ve updated the mainboard, but not the touchpad (by update I mean reinstalled). In fact I’ve even discovered the problem. It was a faulty limit switch on the z-axis the was always closed. I removed the switch (which was okay because there’s another one on the other linear arm), and it began working. However, now there is a separate problem. The Y-axis now has the same issue, even though the limit switch is still working!

Hi, you can try to update the firmwares of MOOZ-2’s mainboard and touchpad (update both firmwares) to solve the problem. Please note: The SD card must be FAT32 format, and the memory can not be larger than 32G.
And it is best to clear the SD card memory first, and then download the touchpad firmware.

The upgrade version refers to the version of MOOZ-2 with added WiFi function.
Select the corresponding firmware to burn according to whether your MOOZ-2 has WiFi function or not.
If there is a WiFi antenna on the MOOZ-2 base, select the WiFi version of the firmware. If not, choose another firmware.
