A colleague tried to upgrade the firmware on the Magician we have and it is now not working. When power is applied the motors lock the arms and the switch’s blue light comes on when USB is attached but the unit is not registering on the USB ports on the PC.
The power rails inside the unit are measuring as I would expect them to. This suggests that the unit has a firmware failure.
Is is even possible to reprogram the main processor via a connector internal to the box and if so were would I get the hex file from?
Magician bricked by upgrade, now non functional

Hello, for this condition, you can try to burn the Magician’s firmware on the Mcuisp tool manually first to see if “Data response timeout” occurs during burning. If yes, there is something wrong with its mainboard.
