I tried to use the magician as 3D Printer and encountered several problems.

As soon as I switch the dobot on, the stepper goes back and forth. Sometimes it will start to pull the filament (after a minute or so of going back and forth). But of course the hot end isn’t hot yet and the filament doesn’t go through. I always shut the dobot down in order to prevent damage.
What could cause this stepper behaviour and how can I solve it?

I use Cura with iOS. The latest version(3.2.1) doesn’t seem to work at all with the dobot magician.
The recomended version (14.07) seemed to work better, but it won’t connect to the dobot. Baud rate and port are ok.
(plus the hot end doesn’t heat. but I suppose that’s ok, because I doen’t even get the window where I can make it heat up…?)
What can I do?
