GP IR Sensor specs

Hi,
Im invited to assist a Dobot Magician user with some external I/O. Few Qs;

  • what are the voltage levels? I.e GP provides 5v, on/off level for an IR sensor should be 0v/5v?
  • is there any advantage to use GP vs EIO?
  • is there a Dobot IR sensor as a product?
  • is there a setup/wiring/ or specs for an IR sensor hookup to Dobot?

Blockly loop seems straight foward

There is a photoelectric sensor as a product in the Conveyor Belt Kit. You can refer to the link below to download the document description.
The photoelectric sensor connected to the Magician base GP2 interface.
