The Dobot Magician is amazing… or, at least looks like it from the videos. But I can’t for the life of me get mine working on my Mac running MacOS 10.12.5.
I have no heads plugged in yet… just the USB connector to my laptop and the Bluetooth connector.
I try to connect to the Dobot and I get constant errors. If I Firmware upgrade, it does the process, but then I am back to the same situation.
The Dobot MacOS app sees the Dobot on the right port, but can’t connect (I think) unless it is the firmware update.
I am surprised to see that there is little to no getting started guides or decent instructions for newbies.
What am I doing wrong?
I’d really like to use the Dobot for teaching, but so far it is proving to be too complicated.
btw… I’m a high level Network /Virtual Reality/Software Architect, and a specialist in a half dozen fields… so I’m not stupid - or maybe with this I am.
