Hi everyone
i am having the same problem from the day 1
if i move to X or Y the Z axis position has significant change,
i have already did the latest firmware update and calibrations but the problem remains
here a video with my problem.

Seems your pen is too close to the limit position, that’s not a proper distance. And how about your wirings? did you wrongly connect the R stepper to the L one?

Hello Eric,
since the Z+ moves pen up and Z- moves pen closer to pape,r i thing the steppers are connect correctly,
what do you mean limit position?

Try to put the end effector a little far away from the base, if too close then it will enter the limit zone and affect the motion.
And how’s your sensor readings? are they correct? You can use a electronic protractor to measure the correct forearm and rear arm angle and set them to the Dobot manually( after you set the angles, don’t need to reset the arm or it will read the angles through the sensor again), and try it again.

how can i know the limit of working zone.
