Dobot Studio in MacOS Catalina - 10.15.1

Hi all,

I’m trying to connect the Dobot Studio for Mac (1.6.7), but the communications port dropdown is empty.

I have installed first the Silicon Labs Driver that came with the dmg image, it didn’t work. Then I installed the latest version (5.2.4) downloaded form their homepage, but I got the same result.

How can I get it working?

Hi @cdelgado,
Can you tell me if this worked for you? I am also trying to install on Catalina MacOS but the computer and Magician are not connecting.

I ditched the MacOS platform and went to Windows. Works okay.

Hi,

No, It didn’t work, and as I really need to use Mac I tried to return the magician, but the answer was that they don’t have return policy!!!

So be aware of this, maybe the robot looks good, but the platform is far from good, aligned with the customer support

Now it’s sitting in its box, I have no idea what to do with it

Buddy I had road block but I was able to bring it up on MAC Mojave .
