I received my Dobot magician a week ago and I can easily move it around using the studio and python SDK. I wanted to try 3D printing. I updated the firmware and am using Repetier Host 1.06. The Repetier host can connect with the Dobot, I’ve made sure all of the settings are as they say in the manual, and I am able to turn the extruder on, get it hot, and I can see the fan moving all from Repetier. However, I cannot proceed further. Clicking the button to extrude 10mm of filament does nothing exept say that a command is waiting for a few seconds before the robot returns to idle. The LED appears to be dim red. What am I doing wrong?
I saw another post that said I need to connect the filament stepper to both stepper 1 and stepper 2, but I only have one stepper cable coming out.
