Connection to PC timeout on run time

MG400 unable to run scripts via dobot studio as connection to pc times out on run time. Dobot Studio succesfully connects to MG400 on launch and is able to jog it. However, when trying to run scripts (even just print(“hello”) returns: 192.168.1.85:8172 connection timeout.

Hello,

It is normal for dobotStudio to display 192.168.1.85:8172 connection timeout,This port is used for single step operation, one click to run the script will bring up this error.
You may not be able to print characters because your computer has not turned off the firewall and the output is blocked, but the motion command is still usable.

It seems you were right as this was only a problem on a specific PC

I had the same problem and disabled the firewall.
But now there is a new error message: “…192.168.1.85:8172 connection refused” what do you do with this error message.
Can anybody help me?
