Cannot connect usb3 camera (hikvision) in Vision kit on linux

Hi there,

I’m trying to develop an application using dobot vision kit on linux. but I can’t access to camera. I tried the software, but it’s for windows, even though it has been installed on linux, but still doesn’t work. I’d like to know if there’s other solutions for linux support, thank you in advance!

Did you manage to access the camera in linux?

On Ubuntu 20.04, when I typed lsusb it it recognized as HIKVISION MV-CE050-30UC but not as a camera (nothing under /dev) I believe the drivers are missing.

Did someone find the linux driver for this camera module?
